Who invented the Jeep?




The first Jeep Brand 4x4. In June 1940, in World War II the U.S. Army ask for bids from 135 automakers for a "light reconnaissance vehicle". Three companies responded, Bantam, Willys and Ford. Only two prototypes were made.


In 1941 the second Jeep called the Willys MB, the Lend-Lease Jeep Brand 4x4. In the making of jeeps, they started with a gearshift on the steering column, low side body cutouts, two circular instrument clusters on the dashboard and a hand brake on the left side.

In 2007 to 2018, the Unlimited Jeep Wrangler. An All-New Four-Door Wrangler, the ultimate, all-American 4x4 freedom. Its feature one-of-a-kind, four door open air design

The latest brand new Jeep, 2019 Unlimited Sahara. It includes safety, has over 75 standard and available safety and security features to help minimize risks.
